California's 25th district was unwinnable for Democrats for decades. But last year, we flipped that district and won by nearly NINE POINTS. Here's how we did it: We had more people donating their time and money -- and then worked harder and smarter with those resources -- than our opponent did. That's it! That's the key to winning a tough district! The formula isn't any different when you look at how to win a national election -- and, frankly, that's why I'm worried. Donald Trump and the RNC have already raised an unprecedented $200 million this year alone. I know our organizers are going to put the work in, but we as a party also have to build the resources to win. Can you donate $3 before Saturday's important deadline to help us win in tough places (like my district) all over the country?
Our new House majority can't create the sort of change our country needs on its own. We must also elect Democrats to state and local office, to the Senate, and to the Oval Office. To do that, we need to make important investments now to hire and train the organizers we need in key states and districts. It takes a lot of money and resources to build and maintain these programs from now until Election Day. If you're just as serious as I am about winning in 2020, can you chip in $3 right now?
