Hi Pat --
Trump just got off the stage in Freeland, Michigan, meaning that for the second time this week, he held a campaign rally amidst a pandemic. He's in Michigan because the polls are close -- and with just a few weeks before Michiganders start casting early ballots, time is running out for Democrats to make meaningful investments in the state and nationwide.
Remember, Pat: Trump won Michigan by just 10,700 votes in 2016. Every event, every ad, every point of contact with Michigan voters counts, which means we can't afford to let this moment go unanswered. That's why I'm asking you to help counter Trump's message in crucial battlegrounds like Michigan by taking an important action before he leaves Michigan tonight:
Will you make a $7 donation to the DNC's One-Term President Fund? Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Democrats down the ballot are counting on resources from Democrats like you to power their efforts in this final stretch.
We can't afford to be surprised by Trump's behavior at these rallies. We know that he'll use any free airtime to tell lies and smear Democratic candidates, and we have to raise the resources to fight back.
The best way to do that is by talking to voters -- out-organizing his campaign, and making strategic investments in ads that tell voters the truth about this failed administration. But with just a few weeks until folks in Michigan start voting early, we are rapidly running out of time to do that.
So, Pat, if you're able, will you chip in $7 to the One-Term President Fund? As folks in Michigan prepare to cast their ballots in the coming weeks, Democrats have a final opportunity to make our case to voters -- but our party can only do that with your help.
In unity,
Tom

P.S. The polls are already dangerously close in Michigan, and we can only expect them to tighten as we near the end of this race. Help Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and Democrats capitalize on the momentum we've built with a $7 donation to the One-Term President Fund today.
