Pat, when I say the stakes are higher now than they ever have been before, I mean it. When this election began, we knew that building the strongest, most united DNC in history was the only way we could beat the odds and win this election -- but now that voting has begun, our time left to make our final case to voters is slipping away.
That's why President Obama launched the Democratic Unity Fund -- because he knew we had to unify our party early and build the resources it'd take to win the White House and seats down the ballot. Since its inception, over 245,644 supporters on this grassroots team chipped in to support the fund directly and commit to party unity. But according to the records we have on file, you still have yet to make an investment directly in the fund. Take a look:
A strong, united front is what we need, and we still urgently need your help to keep momentum going as we make our final plans these next two months. The DNC is ready to deploy all of its resources to go toward programs like IWillVote.com, our Data Warehouse, and our full-time voter protection department. But those programs risk not reaching their full potential if we fall short of fully funding the Democratic Unity Fund before it's too late.
Can you chip in your first $7 to the Democratic Unity Fund? Without these crucial programs, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and so many other campaigns might come up short, and we can't risk that happening in the election of our lifetimes.
