Getting out the vote in a pandemic

Getting out the vote looks a little different this year because so many people will be voting early, so it's more important than ever that we do everything in our power to encourage early, safe voting.

The first ballots of this general election will go out tomorrow, Pat. I'm telling you this because it's an important wake up call -- a reminder that the future of our democracy is being decided not just 61 days from now, but right now. And that we urgently need to finish the work of getting out the vote in our most critical battlegrounds. That's why the DNC has created the GOTV Fund. But without a fully funded GOTV Fund, we could risk coming up short of the resources we need to mobilize and educate voters in this unprecedented election and endanger important Democratc victories.
