Tomorrow night is our party's first quarterly FEC deadline of the general election. It's a turning point in our fight to end Trump's presidency, flip the Senate, expand our majority in the House, and elect Democrats up and down the ballot.
Our strength coming out of this deadline will have a direct impact on the number of organizers we can put on the ground in critical battleground states; what upgrades we can make to our tech and data infrastructure; and our ability to put voter protection directors in the states that are most vulnerable to Republican voter suppression tactics. Now is the time to do this crucial work, which is why early, consistent support from Democrats like you is so important, Pat.
So, will you please chip in $7 to the DNC before tomorrow's critical end-of-quarter deadline?
Leadership is about more than just who's in the Oval Office. As a former mayor, I know how important it is to elect strong leaders who share our values at the state and local level, too.
Presidents and senators can do a lot, but mayors, school board officials, and state legislators are often responsible for the policies that impact you most in your daily life. It's on all of us to fight for races up and down the ticket, which is why your gift to the DNC -- the only party committee dedicated to electing Democrats at every level of government -- would have such a meaningful impact.
So, if you're able, will you please chip in $7 before the DNC's quarterly deadline tomorrow? Anything you can donate today will go a long way.
Thank you for being a part of this,
Pete
Pete Buttigieg
P.S. I can't say it enough, Pat: Gifts made now are much more impactful than those made later on. Will you donate $7 before tomorrow so the DNC can fully fund the critical programs that will help elect Democrats nationwide?
