Please give me a minute to level with you about why a donation to our party is so important, especially right now, before the first quarterly deadline of the 2020 general election →

When my team and I go over the fundraising totals from this quarter, it will be clear what kind of tools and infrastructure we'll be able to hand over to Joe Biden's campaign as he goes toe-to-toe against Trump and the RNC.

Pat --

I'm coming to you today, four days away from our first end-of-quarter deadline since the general election began, with an important request: I'm asking you to be one of 180 donors from Carrollton to contribute to the Democratic Party before Tuesday's deadline. Please give me a minute to level with you about why this Tuesday could be a turning point in this race, and why your support right now is more vital than ever:

When it comes to helping Joe Biden and Democratic candidates down the ticket scale and execute their plans, it's now or never. The resources that the DNC and these campaigns have on hand following this Tuesday's deadline will be hugely important in determining key staffing, advertising, and organizing strategies for the crucial, final months of this race. When my team and I go over the fundraising totals from this quarter, it will be clear what kinds of tools and infrastructure we'll be able to build to help Joe Biden and Democrats go toe-to-toe against Trump and the RNC.

When it comes to helping Joe Biden and Democratic candidates down the ticket scale and execute their plans for the general election, it's now or never.

According to our records, you have yet to make a contribution to the DNC this year -- and we can't risk falling short of this quarter's fundraising goal at such a pivotal moment in the race. There's never been a more important time to make your first $7 donation to our party than ahead of this Tuesday's end-of-quarter deadline. Any amount you can give will make a big difference, especially right now.

You're an integral member of this team, Pat, so it's important to me that you know exactly what our plans are for the general election. Here are just a few examples of what the DNC is working on, in close collaboration with the Biden campaign and other Democrats, in order to defeat Donald Trump and Republicans in races nationwide:

  • The DNC War Room: Together with the Biden campaign, the War Room has released the DNC's first attack ads against Donald Trump, holding him to task for his unprecedented failures of leadership over the past three years. Trump himself has already complained about the ads online -- and we're just getting started.

  • Record-breaking online advertising: Earlier this quarter, the DNC announced that we're reserving $22 million in strategic digital advertising in battleground states for the final weeks leading up to Election Day. This is a historic reservation, and it will be worth every dollar.

  • Scaling up digital organizing work: Our digital organizing team has been hard at work running digital organizing webinars that teach volunteers about the online resources folks can use to stay involved from home as we continue to navigate this crisis. Over 11,592 volunteers have already signed up to be trained, and that number continues to rise.

I'm incredibly proud of the progress we've made together to integrate with the Biden campaign and to build the strongest Democratic Party in decades, but we can't take our foot off the gas now. All of these efforts will be key to delivering Democratic victories, and they all urgently need the funding of grassroots supporters like you.

We can't take our foot off the gas now.

Will you make your first $7 investment in the Democratic Party before this Tuesday's quarterly deadline? If 180 more Democrats from Carrollton contribute, we'll be on track to hit our goal, send Joe Biden to the White House, flip the Senate, and win Democratic seats in competitive races nationwide.

In unity,

Tom

P.S. Our donor records show that you have yet to make a contribution to the DNC this year. A contribution now, before we close the books on Q2, will go a lot further than that same amount given just before November 3. Will you make a $7 donation before the first end-of-quarter deadline of the general election?
