| In just a minute, I need to ask you to split a $10 contribution between my campaign and the DNC's Democratic Unity Fund. First, I hope you'll lend me a moment to share a few important lessons I learned while running alongside President Barack Obama in 2008 and 2012 that'll be key to winning this Election Day: - Our values as Democrats resonate with a majority of Americans -- but it's on us to tap into that power and mobilize people to vote. The DNC's rich depth of voter data and strong voter protection department are key here, and scaling up these parts of our 2020 strategy while it's early in the race will be central to getting out the vote.
- It's not enough to only win the White House. The combination of President Obama's leadership, a House majority, and a Democratically-controlled Senate gave our party the strength to pass the Affordable Care Act and insure millions of American families. If we want to pass the bold policies our country needs to heal, we'll need to win seats at every level in addition to winning the Oval Office.
- We can't get any of this done without a strong DNC. No matter what office a Democrat is running for, the DNC's resources will be indispensable to my campaign and to Democrats running to hold the House, flip the Senate, and win competitive offices down the ticket on November 3.
Scaling up the tools and strategies it will take to win at every level simply can't happen without a fully-supported Democratic Unity Fund -- and time is running out to invest in this important work before it's too late. These crucial investments are powered by grassroots supporters like you, so if your financial situation allows, I'm asking you to help out in this pivotal moment for our campaign: Split a $10 donation between my campaign and the DNC's Democratic Unity Fund. Democrats across the country are relying on your invaluable support before tomorrow's fundraising deadline. | | | |
