I have a request, Pat

Beating Donald Trump and his allies will be an uphill battle.
Join us.
The following message is a part of our 2020 Presidential Candidate Series. For more information, see below.

Donald Trump and the RNC have already raised over $300 million this year, and their fundraising shows no signs of slowing down, Pat.

While my team and I have been growing our campaign operation across the country and sharing our vision to put Humanity First, Trump and Republicans have been rapidly expanding their ground game and running an unprecedented number of online ads.

I've done the MATH, Pat: Beating Donald Trump and his allies will be an uphill battle. Our party's eventual nominee -- whether that's me or someone else -- will need the DNC to hand over a strong, well-resourced operation the moment the general election starts. To get there, we all need to support the Democratic Unity Fund.

Staff at DNC HQ are working overtime to build the organization and programs required to keep pace with Republicans. Our eventual nominee will need a rock-solid DNC to have a real shot at winning back the White House, which is why I have to ask:

Will you make a $3 donation to my campaign and the DNC's Democratic Unity Fund today? Any amount you contribute today will help build the strong party infrastructure Democrats need to win up and down the ballot in 2020.

The challenges we face as a nation are too great to be fixed by any one candidate or campaign. If we want to get anything done to address the greatest technological and economic shift in human history, we'll also need a Democratic House and Senate to make it happen -- and no other party committee or organization is in a better position to create the infrastructure we need to make all three happen than the DNC.

Together, we can build a new type of economy that puts people first. But no one else is going to build a better world for us. We're going to have to do it for ourselves -- and that includes building a strong Democratic Party.

The DNC is the only official party committee tasked with electing Democrats from the state house to the White House. Donald Trump's team is raising a historic amount of money so that they can try to run up the score on us -- and we can't sit back while that happens, Pat.

Donate $3 to my campaign and the DNC's Democratic Unity Fund to help Democrats win nationwide in 2020.

Thanks for being a part of this,

Andrew

P.S. The Democratic primary is heating up fast, Pat, and whoever our eventual nominee is will need the full force of the Democratic Party behind them on day one of the general election to make sure they have a shot at beating Trump. That's why I'm asking: Will you to donate $3 to my campaign and the DNC's Democratic Unity Fund today?

Our 2020 Presidential Candidate Series is just one way we’re working to help our supporters hear directly from the Democratic candidates for president.

Sending fundraising emails like this one is a component of our Democratic candidates’ agreement with the DNC to share access to the DNC’s database of voter records. As a part of our agreement, every candidate who signs on sends the same number of emails to the DNC’s list, with proceeds going to a combination of the DNC and the candidate’s campaign. If you’re wondering why you’re not hearing from your preferred candidate, we may have already sent emails on their behalf or have plans to do so in the future, or they may not have signed on yet.

The DNC is committed to running a fair and transparent primary. This organization is powered by you, and we'd love to hear your ideas. Just reply to this email to send any comments, criticisms, or feedback. Our community management team reads every message from supporters like you. Thanks for supporting our party!
