If you'd asked me a year ago if I thought Arizona's 8th congressional district was going to be a competitive seat for Democrats, I might have said no. The district has been considered safely Republican for years and Donald Trump won it in 2016 by more than 20 points. But we've seen in 2018 that any district can be competitive if we go for it. Dr. Hiral Tipirneni has been organizing on the ground and talking to voters directly -- and guess what? Two polls this week have her up or tied. If we win this race, it would be a huge upset for a Democratic underdog -- the sort of upset we're going to need this November. During these final days of the campaign, it's critical that we help Hiral mobilize as many voters as possible, so I'm asking you today: Split a $10 donation between Dr. Hiral Tipirneni and the DNC now. Your donation will help mobilize voters in AZ-08 and elect Democrats nationwide. The fact that the most recent polls for AZ-08 have Hiral neck and neck with her Republican opponent is something that should make Republicans all across the country nervous. If we can compete in this district, there's literally nowhere Democrats can't put up a fight. Here's the truth: Hiral is the underdog. But she has a chance. Competing in a district that has heavily favored Republicans takes an incredible amount of organizing, and the Republican Party isn't going to shy away from pouring an absurd amount of money into the race over the next few days. It's going to take every single one of us to flip our next House seat in Arizona -- and time is running out to make a difference.
