Pat, I'm going to cut to the chase because we're running out of time: Would you split your first $10 contribution between my campaign and the DNC today? Voting has begun, and we need all the help we can get to turn out voters in crucial battlegrounds.
Hear me out, Pat: As you read this email, folks all over the country are beginning to cast their ballots in the most consequential election of our lifetime. This means that with each passing day, the opportunities we have to reach potential Democratic voters are dwindling. I mean it when I say that this election is going to come down to what we can accomplish in the next seven weeks.
Your contribution today will directly impact the scope and magnitude of our voter outreach efforts in this final stretch of the race. From where we can make last-minute ad buys to what states we can engage in voter education, these programs are essential to our campaign's success. So, I have to ask:
Pat, will you split a $10 donation between my campaign and the DNC so that we can reach voters where they are and elect Democrats up and down the ballot this year? Without your support, my team and those of down-ballot Democrats will be left without the resources we need to fund these critical initiatives. With so much at stake, that's a risk I'm not willing to take.
I launched this campaign over a year ago because I believe that the soul of our nation is worth fighting for. All of the work we've done to realize this ideal is coming to a turning point -- and fumbling at the finish line will not only be a disappointment, but will have implications for generations to come. That's why your support at this moment is mission-critical.
Look, Pat, asking for money is my least favorite part of the job. But I'm coming to you personally because a contribution made today will have a much greater impact on this race than one made in October, November, or even one week from now. Ballots are being cast right now, so the urgency of this moment cannot be understated.
Pat, can I count on you to split a $10 donation between my campaign and the DNC once you finish reading this email? Your support will help inform some of the very last decisions we're making as a campaign.
All my best,
Joe
Joe Biden
P.S. According to my friends at the DNC, you haven't made a contribution to my campaign quite yet. I know times are tough, but I hope you'll consider donating $10 to my campaign and the DNC today. It's folks like you who are powering this campaign, and I could not be more appreciative of your support.
