If there's one thing Gabby and I have learned, it's that the gun lobby never goes down without a fight.

When Gabby and I started our campaign to end gun violence, we never imagined a day like yesterday, Pat. Marching alongside tens of thousands of kids demanding their leaders take action to keep them safe from guns in their schools and communities was so inspiring -- these students showed more courage and conviction than the Republican-led Congress ever has. Young people are taking gun violence seriously, and they expect their elected leaders to do the same. But if there's one thing Gabby and I have learned since committing ourselves to the campaign to change our country's gun laws, it's that the gun lobby never backs down -- and you can bet they will double down on their efforts after seeing our movement rallying together at the March for Our Lives events across the country.
