Nothing about our country is going to change unless we fight for it, Pat. This year's midterm election is our chance to take back Congress. But we have a steep hill ahead of us, and the only way we'll regain Democratic majorities is if all of us answer the call to get involved, starting right now. Tomorrow at midnight, Democrats face a critical FEC fundraising deadline. What we do today will determine where we land in November -- and I know we can win if we all do our part. Now is the time to show you're ready to elect Democrats. Make your first donation of 2018 by chipping in $3 before tomorrow's deadline. Last year when I attended the Women's March, I knew we had reached a turning point in our country. It was the beginning of the revival of the women's rights movement -- the moment we will always remember when we stood strong and didn't give up hope. But we didn't stop there. Together, we fought against GOP efforts to take away health care from millions of Americans. We flooded airports to protest the hateful Muslim ban. And just last weekend, students led nationwide marches to demand action on common-sense gun reform. I have no doubt that if we keep this up, we will take back the House and the Senate. In order for that to happen, all of us need to advocate, organize, and vote. Inside the voting booth, we can exercise our power -- and right now it's our job to mobilize a record number of Democrats before Election Day. Make your first $3 donation of 2018 -- before tomorrow's critical FEC deadline -- if you're ready to elect Democrats in all 50 states. Our challenges are great -- but we can overcome them if we do it together. Thanks for all you do, Kirsten Gillibrand U.S. Senator, New York P.S. -- Our democracy only works when all of us come together and demand that it works for us. The stakes this November couldn't be any higher -- make your first $3 donation of 2018 before tomorrow at midnight if you're ready to fight. |
