I know it isn't easy to get involved in another election after such a heartbreaking loss

Pat -- We're less than a week out from elections in Virginia and New Jersey, and all eyes are on my friends Ralph Northam and Justin Fairfax in Virginia and Phil Murphy and Sheila Oliver in New Jersey. These races for governor and lieutenant governor are pivotal, and it's never been more important to donate, volunteer, and support them than in the final days of these races. But it's just as important that we lift up the work that's being done on down-ballot races, and I want to talk to you about two of the groups that Onward Together supports and that are at the forefront of the fight for the House of Delegates in Virginia. Emerge America and Run for Something have been working tirelessly to endorse and support diverse, smart, powerful candidates, and I couldn't be more proud of everything they've accomplished. If we're going to show this administration that those of us who still believe in a big-hearted, inclusive America aren't backing down, then we all need to step up and be even more involved. Here are three easy ways that you can support Emerge America and Run for Something candidates in Virginia right now: Sign up to volunteer for Emerge America and Run for Something candidates. Whether you want to go to Virginia to knock on doors or make a few calls from your home in support of one of these candidates, there's always something to do during the final few days. Make a donation to Emerge America and Run for Something candidates. Elections are expensive, especially as Election Day draws nearer. Anything you can do will help. Reach out to your friends on Facebook who may live in Virginia and ask them to make sure they vote on Tuesday, November 7th. I know it isn't easy to get involved in another election after such a heartbreaking loss. But if you're anything like me, there's nothing as uplifting as channeling your frustration and disappointment into action.
