They're our neighbors, co-workers, PTA members, and fellow churchgoers. DREAMers are Americans, Pat. But for years, Republicans have demonized these kids and their families with hateful rhetoric -- and this president's policies are now tearing communities apart. Even though nine out of 10 Americans support legal protections for American immigrants who came here as children, this administration has chosen to end DACA -- leaving nearly 800,000 young people at risk of losing work permits and facing deportation. No child should have to sleep at night fearful of a midnight raid from Trump's deportation force. No parent should fear being snatched away from their loved ones while picking up a prescription for a child at the pharmacy, going to their place of worship, or working to support their family. This isn't who we are as Americans, Pat. Our dream is inclusive. But the clock is ticking for millions of families, so we need every Democrat to take action today.
