On Thursday, Politico ran this: Let's zoom in there for a second: those two on the couch? Well, we just got two jaw-dropping pieces of news about two of Donald Trump's closest allies. Rudy Giuliani, who is positioned to be a senior advisor in a potential Trump White House, admitted that FBI insiders have been leaking supposedly-secret information to him. He was effectively confirming that when he hinted last week that the Trump campaign had "a couple of surprises left" -- two days before FBI Director James Comey's letter to Congress -- he knew this was coming. And, as of yesterday, four top aides to Chris Christie -- who Trump wanted as his VP pick but settled on putting him in charge of his transition team, in charge of staffing his administration -- have now been convicted of federal crimes related to Christie's Bridgegate scandal, implicating Christie in the process. As if the prospect of a President Trump alone isn't scary enough, this is a preview of what a Trump administration would look like. We can't let this happen.
