"One hell of a way to lose"

As Hillary said the other day after the debate, "Anybody who complains about the microphone is not having a good night." That's why it's notable that Trump has been repeating a certain riff in his stump speech lately. The other night at a rally outside of Detroit, he encouraged his supporters to go to polling places on Election Day to "make sure it's on the up and up," because "that would be one hell of a way to lose." He's laying the groundwork for what happens on November 8th and potentially beyond -- that if he loses, it's somehow illegitimate. Earlier this summer, Trump told a crowd in Pennsylvania to "go down to certain areas" and "make sure other people don't come in and vote five times." His campaign website even asks supporters to "Help Me Stop Crooked Hillary From Rigging This Election!" Like so much of what Trump has said throughout this election, this kind of rhetoric is dangerous. And we have to do everything we can to push back against it.
