If the last week is any indication, Donald Trump is going to spend the final stretch of this election melting down.
Some might think this is amusing. Some might think it means Trump's campaign is over. But that couldn't be further from the truth -- his team just announced that they raised over $100 million in September, and they're about to dump a whole lot of that into this race.
But if Trump continues to come unglued, we may also have a major opportunity -- one we've got to seize.
So Hillary needs 21 more supporters from Carrollton today to stand with her ahead of our last major FEC deadline on Wednesday. You can be one of them with a quick $10 right now.
Here's the lay of the land: If Democrats hustle hard, we could win the Senate by winning seats in states like Nevada, Pennsylvania, and New Hampshire. We could take back governorships in North Carolina and Indiana. We could make huge inroads in the House. We could actually run close enough to win deep-red states like Arizona and Georgia for Hillary -- seriously, pat!
So while I know we're calling these core team members Presidential Donors, a potential president is only as strong as the partners she can count on across the federal government and the states to advance her agenda. Like we've said all campaign, we're stronger together. Hillary can't make history -- or enact progress as president -- by herself.
That's why she needs us to work even harder as Trump craters.
I'm not getting ahead of myself here, pat. No part of this race at any level is guaranteed -- but I know a once-in-a-lifetime shot when I see it.
So here's my assignment for you: Chip in $10 for whichever of these (very real) possibilities excites you the most: a Democratic Senate, a Democratic governor in a red state like Indiana, an election night win for Hillary in Arizona, or anything else -- and you'll become one of Hillary's Presidential Donors not only for posterity but for a post-election mandate.
