Friend -- This weekend in Paris, representatives from nearly 200 nations took a historic step in the fight against climate change by agreeing to a bold plan to combat greenhouse gas emissions -- the first universal agreement like this in the history of the planet. The debate on climate change is over, and the time for action is now. We can be proud of what President Obama and his fellow world leaders accomplished today, but there's still a lot of work to do before we can truly celebrate. The steps proposed in this plan are ambitious but achievable. But there are still some members of the GOP who would stand in the way -- folks like Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, and many of their fellow Republicans in Congress who deny the science of climate change and believe we shouldn't take action to address it.
