Friend -- Republicans just raised the stakes on their desperate crusade against Obamacare. This week, they officially tied our economic recovery and the financial stability of the United States to defunding Obamacare. We already knew that Republicans would take any opportunity to rally against this law, which was passed by Congress, signed by the President, and upheld by the Supreme Court. But risking the economic stability of the United States is absolutely ridiculous. We've made too much progress to let them take us backwards. Tell Republicans to stop playing games with Americans' health care and economic well-being today. Look, everyone has a right to their opinion -- they don't like Obamacare, and they've made that clear. But Congress' basic responsibilities include funding the government and paying our bills on time. Republicans are failing on both counts. Add your name, and tell Republicans that you'll hold them accountable if the government shuts down: http://my.democrats.org/Tell-Them-To-Stop Thanks, Mo Mo Elleithee Communications Director Democratic National Committee P.S. -- We put together a video on how Republicans are threatening to shut down the government. Check it out, and share it with others. |
