Today, we've created 14 million jobs and more Americans are employed than ever before. We passed the largest investment in our nation's infrastructure in a generation to rebuild our roads, bridges, and public transportation -- and clean up pollution across the country. We made the most significant investment in clean energy in American history and worked to bring good-paying manufacturing jobs back home. We took on Big Pharma and won -- capping the cost of insulin for seniors and giving Medicare the power to negotiate drug prices. Thanks to supporters like you, we have made extraordinary progress -- and that is something I am forever grateful for. But our work is not yet done -- and the threat to our democracy has never been greater. Donald Trump is seeking the presidency once again, and he is not hiding what he plans to do. He has said he will be a "dictator" on Day One and has called for the "termination" of the Constitution if it fits his will. Let that sink in. We're the only nation in the history of the world built on an idea: "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men and women are created equal." We've never fully lived up to that.
