He seriously said he "terminated" Roe v. Wade by appointing the Supreme Court justices who overturned it. And he's right. He did. Listen, Donald Trump's campaign is about him. Not America. Not you. He is willing to sacrifice our democracy -- and your fundamental freedoms -- to put himself in power. But this campaign is different. This campaign is about America. It's about you. It's about the people of every age and background who occupy this country. And it's about the future we're going to continue to build together. That's why I am asking you to be a part of it. On this anniversary of Roe v. Wade, will you make an investment in a campaign that will fight for more freedom -- not less, more rights -- not fewer? I've said it before, and I will again now: Women should be able to make these deeply personal decisions free from political interference. Nevertheless, Republicans across the country are continuing to push for a national abortion ban, to criminalize doctors and nurses, and to make contraception harder to access. It's dangerous, extreme, and out of touch. If I'm reelected, I'll continue to fight to protect a woman's right to choose. Congress must restore the protections of Roe v. Wade in federal law -- it's the only way we can fully secure a woman's right to choose in every state. But I can't do it alone.
