You can tell a lot about a party's values by looking at its budget, and when I look at the MAGA House Republican proposal, I'm seeing a five-alarm fire for families like yours.

The House Freedom Caucus' budget proposal makes their priorities clear: they want to impose devastating cuts to public safety and raise costs for working and middle-class families, all to protect and extend tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy and big corporations. Their budget would be a disaster for folks like you. Now, let's compare the House Freedom Caucus' plan to President Biden's plan. President Biden's budget would: Cut the deficit by nearly $3 trillion. On the other hand, the MAGA Republicans' plan could *add* nearly $3 trillion to the deficit. Bring down health care costs for working families. Recently, three major insulin manufacturers followed President Biden's lead and capped the cost of their product at $35/month. President Biden wants to make sure we have insulin capped for everyone -- including Americans on private insurance. Protect and strengthen Medicare and Social Security. President Biden's plan would secure Medicare for another generation, while Republicans continue to propose cuts to Social Security and Medicare. Invest in America by investing in families, workers, seniors, and veterans. President Biden's plan puts the American people first -- including key investments in community colleges and veterans' services. Now, President Biden's budget is great. But to make progress like this possible, we need more Democrats in Congress -- and that won't happen without committed grassroots supporters showing up.
