The Inflation Reduction Act
Democrats are working hard to fight inflation and lower costs for families. If passed, the Inflation Reduction Act will not only address overall inflation, but will also put in place measures that:
🏥 Address health care costs by lowering health insurance premiums and allowing Medicare to negotiate lower drug prices;
🌎 Provide tax credits and investments for energy projects that will lower energy costs and create thousands of new jobs;
💵 Require big corporations to pay their fair share in taxes with no tax increases for families making under $400,000 a year.
Enacting legislation like the Inflation Reduction Act is made possible when Democrats are in charge. That's why it is so critical that we share our achievements and mobilize our communities to vote this upcoming November.
