Pat,
I wanted to take a moment to say thank you for being a dedicated part of this team. When Donald Trump was elected in 2016, it would have been easy to feel hopeless. But from the very first day of his presidency, people like you stood up and organized in your communities, donated to Democratic candidates, and volunteered your time -- and that took us a long way.
From flipping state legislatures to governorships to Senate seats, the tireless efforts of people like you paid off in spades in the 2018 midterms and again, two weeks ago, when a decisive majority of Americans chose Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as our next president and vice president.
There was never any doubt that making Trump a one-term president would be an uphill battle. But time and again, you spoke out, chipped in, and met every challenge. Overcoming the GOP's massive incumbency and fundraising advantages took hard work -- your hard work.
But the odds stacked against us were no match for the infrastructure this party built for Joe Biden and Democrats running for office at every level, and in every state. Thanks to Democrats like you, the Biden campaign and the DNC erased Trump's advantage, allowing us to make strategic investments in on-the-ground organizing, targeted ads, and voter protection -- the exact efforts that resulted in the history-making election of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
We've come a long way since the dark days of the beginning of this presidency, and the end is right around the corner. This month, the American people chose hope and dignity over fear and anger. But we must remember, our work is far from over. Continuing our successes in races for months and years to come -- including the Georgia Senate runoffs -- requires each of us to keep investing in our party early and often. So, Pat, if you're able, start a monthly gift to support Democrats nationwide today.
Thank you for all that you've done.
Tom
