Re: the debates

With one more night left in this second debate, our slate of candidates continue to prove that each one of them would lead this country in a better direction than Donald Trump.

DemocratsJoin us.

Wow, Pat. What a debate. Each and every candidate on that stage proved one hundred times over that they'd lead our country in a better direction than Donald Trump. I couldn't be prouder of our candidates, and I can't wait to hear even more tomorrow night.

No matter who voters choose as our party's nominee, it's up to all of us to hand our eventual nominee the keys to a well-oiled DNC machine come the general election. To build that, we need to be investing in victory right now -- while it's still early in the election cycle.

I'll be honest: How much we can raise before tomorrow's deadline will determine whether our nominee gets a world-class party infrastructure or is forced to scrape by with the bare minimum. Hitting fundraising goals like this one is our only shot at taking back the White House and seats nationwide, so I'm asking you personally, Pat:

Can you make a $3 donation to the Democratic Unity Fund ahead of tomorrow's deadline to invest in the critical party infrastructure it will take to defeat Donald Trump and the GOP?

While our candidates are sharing their visions for moving this country forward, Donald Trump and his band of cronies at the RNC are hard at work trying to top the massive $105 million in fundraising they took in last quarter. We want our candidates to focus on the primary while we worry about the general election -- which is why we're investing in securing our data and technology, expanding voter outreach, and building a strong DNC so that our eventual nominee can hit the ground running the moment the general election starts.

If we wait until next July, or even another month, before kicking it into high-gear, Trump and the RNC could pull too far ahead. In a year, one of our incredible candidates will begin their battle against Trump. So, I have to ask:

Donate $3 to the Democratic Unity Fund before tomorrow's midnight deadline to help Democrats up and down the ticket. No matter who our nominee is, they'll need a strong DNC to win.

Your support means so much,

Tom
