This is how we prevent gun violence:

I became a student activist after my friend, Blair Holt, was shot and killed on a city bus right after school.
Pat --

My name is Ronnie Mosley, and I lost my cousin and my best friend to gun violence.

No one is ever the same after losing a loved one to gun violence. It's why I became a student activist ten years ago, after my friend, Blair Holt, was shot and killed on a city bus right after school.

I was driven by the simple truth that kids should not have to live in fear of being gunned down in their neighborhoods. We must take proactive steps to organize in our communities and demand accountability from our elected officials.

There is still much that needs to be done -- and our best shot at reducing gun violence is electing Democratic candidates up and down the ballot who will help strengthen our gun laws.

The time to act is now. Make a contribution before Wednesday's deadline to throw out Republicans who have blocked progress on gun violence and elect Democrats who will take this issue seriously.

Progress on gun violence prevention has stalled -- but right now I am hopeful that we have reached a turning point.

Inspired by the students in Parkland, Florida, people nationwide are coming together to bring an end to gun violence. Just this week, survivors of the Parkland shooting confronted lawmakers at the Florida state legislature and made their voices heard, and thousands of people gathered to support them.

School-age kids should not have to endure the trauma of gun violence. We shouldn't have to wonder, "Will I be next?"

We're fed up. We want a future, not another funeral.

There's a solution to this problem, and it starts with introducing common-sense gun laws. That's why it's so important that we come together to elect Democrats who will put people ahead of the interests of the gun lobby.

Show you're in to stop the cycle of gun violence. Donate before Wednesday's deadline and together we will defeat Republicans who want to maintain the terrible status quo.

We can stop needless deaths from happening -- but only if we work together.

Thanks for joining this fight.
