| Pat -- As soon as the election results came in last November, Democrats knew we were going to be the opposition party to the Trump administration and Republican Congress. But it's not enough to be an opposition party. We have to be the proposition party -- proposing our vision of the future so that, as the American people reject what they see in front of them, they can turn to us. That's why I'm so excited about Resistance Summer, Pat. It's all about strengthening and connecting our communities so we can resist Donald Trump's agenda and spread the word about the progressive values Democrats are fighting for.
