Holding Donald Trump, his administration, and the rest of the GOP accountable is one of the most important parts of our work. Become a Factivist today to get the latest information about what they're up to, then forward these emails to your friends and family to keep them in the loop, too. Hi there -- This week, a Pew Research survey asked Americans how they felt about Donald Trump's cabinet choices and high-level appointments. Looking back to the same survey in December 2008, 71% of respondents approved of the job President-elect Obama's transition team was doing with their cabinet choices and other major appointments. Today, only 40% approve of what they've seen from the early days of a Trump administration. It certainly doesn't come as a surprise. Not when Scott Pruitt, a climate change denier and anti-environmental regulation crusader, is his pick to lead the Environmental Protection Agency. Or when Andy Puzder -- a fast food CEO who wants to replace his employees with robots and opposes paying the very human employees he does have a living wage -- is his choice for Labor Secretary. The list goes on: Of course, GOP leaders in the House and Senate are so delighted to have a President Trump to sign off on their extremist agenda that they don't seem to care how many precedents he stands to break with his own business entanglements: But this week we also saw an example of collective action at its best -- an inspiration for how we can spend the next four years standing together and standing up for the rights of everyday Americans: Thanks as always for being one of our most committed supporters. By tweeting, sharing, and otherwise helping spread the word, we're helping hold Donald Trump and his administration accountable every day from now until Election Day 2020.
