More Americans voted for Democratic values in this election. If you're proud to be one of them, pitch in $10 or whatever you can to help fight against Trump's administration. Friend -- The final popular vote total for this election is in: 65,844,610 for Clinton, 62,979,636 for Trump. That doesn't change the outcome, much as we might wish it did. But here's what we can and should take away: More Americans chose to keep this country moving in the direction set by President Obama. More Americans voted for the ideas we put forward in the most progressive platform in the history of our party, instead of the GOP agenda. More Americans believed in our values and rejected the hatred that was at the cornerstone of Donald Trump's campaign. But being right isn't enough -- we know we have a lot to do as a party to make sure that the electoral outcome reflects the will of the people. We have a lot of hard work and tough choices ahead of us as we work to rebuild our party and prepare for elections in 2017 and beyond. But this election has proven that we cannot and should not back down from what we believe in -- from the values that make us Democrats. Pitch in $10 or more if you're ready to keep fighting for our progressive agenda and candidates in 2017. If you've saved your payment information, your donation will go through immediately.
