Here's why tonight's deadline is important:

DemocratsJoin us.
Friend --

Earlier this week, I took a walk from the DNC over to the Supreme Court during oral arguments on a case that could make marriage equality the law of the land across the country.

I saw so many people (including a few from my home state of Florida) -- couples who have been together for years, young people whose states don't yet allow them to marry the person they love, families of all kinds -- all making their voices heard outside the courthouse steps to demand equality. I have to tell you, it really warmed my heart.

And it reaffirmed my commitment to the Democratic Party -- the party that's fighting for equality in all its forms for every American.

But this is a fight we can't win without you. Before midnight tonight, make your commitment to our party by pitching in what you can and getting us one step closer to our goal.

P.S. -- Some breaking 2016 election news for you: This morning, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders entered the Democratic primary for president, and I couldn't be more excited to have him in this race. There's no better time to support our party.
