Friend -- Here's a scary thought: If Rick Scott wins re-election here in Florida, then he's a model for leadership all across the country. Republicans nationwide will look to him as an example of how someone can absolutely ruin a state and still win a second term. On every issue you and I care about -- education, equality, a woman's right to choose, voting rights, minimum wage, climate change, and more -- Rick Scott is out of touch. He's failed to expand Medicaid, which would benefit about 1 million Floridians, and he's left middle-class families behind. Floridians are feeling the pain. I hear it from them every day. But his campaign is planning to spend $100 million (and has help from the Koch brothers) -- so with less than two months to go, this race is tied. The only way we'll keep him out of office -- and send a message to extreme Republicans across the country -- is by building the biggest grassroots movement Florida's ever seen.
