I made a strategic decision recently, and I wanted you to know about it.

After much thought about my next steps to boost Democrats in the redistricting fight before midterm elections, I decided to return to Louisiana in the coming weeks to continue building our power in the South.

That is what I am doing next with Fight for the People PAC. I am going to travel, speak out, and help elect Democrats everywhere.

I have spent a lot of time in the South recently, and I know the importance of our movement there. Donald Trump knows it, too. That is why — in the wake of this spring’s Callais ruling — he is trying to rig the game in his favor.
