Inauguration events are starting today! While we can't meet in person, there are so many opportunities to safely get involved from home. Check out what's going on this week:
TONIGHT: We're kicking off Inauguration with a first-of-its-kind virtual concert, hosted by Keegan Michael-Key and Debra Messing -- this We The People concert is a great way to kick off this week's celebrations. MONDAY, JANUARY 18: The National Day of Service and United We Serve celebration honors the spirit of Martin Luther King, Jr. after a weekend of service events across the country. Featuring a diverse array of inspiring speakers and community leaders across the country, we're celebrating in anticipation of the Biden-Harris Administration's commitment to service. Sign up to volunteer here and tune into the United We Serve celebration at 8pm ET: TUESDAY, JANUARY 19: The Presidential Inaugural Committee is hosting a memorial in honor of the lives lost to the COVID-19 pandemic, featuring a lighting ceremony in Washington, D.C. Cities around the country are invited to illuminate buildings and ring church bells at 5:30PM ET in a national moment of unity and remembrance. WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 20: Inauguration Day will be filled with events, starting in the morning and ending in the evening. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will be sworn in at the Inaugural Ceremony and deliver their inaugural address. The day will end with a celebration in prime-time hosted by Tom Hanks and friends, an event that you won't want to miss. Thanks for joining us in this major moment. You can also keep an eye on our Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram channels in the coming days to stay in the loop.
We hope you'll take a moment to enjoy with your family from home.
Thanks for all you do.
