Add your name: tell Congress to stop trying to take away our health care. You've got the GOP on the ropes. Late last night, Democratic leaders reached a deal to stop a Republican-led government shutdown, and it's a major victory for all of us who are resisting the Trump agenda:
But chalking up one big win doesn't mean Republicans are giving up. In fact, Donald Trump's chief of staff and chief economist have said that the GOP has the votes in the House to pass Trumpcare. That would put Donald Trump one step closer to signing away the ACA's protections for people with pre-existing condtions. Millions of Americans health care -- and lives -- are on the line. We chalked up a big win yesterday, and that's great. But we can't afford to rest on our laurels. Take action now: call on Republicans to stop their crusade to take our health care away: The resistance has been made possible because you stepped up. Keep doing what you're doing, and I see a lot more victories in our future together. Thanks, Tom Tom Perez Chair Democratic National Committee |
