Real talk

Friend --

People always think there's some secret to winning a big election. There isn't.

Here's how we did it in 2008 -- we registered more voters than the other side, got them to the polls, and made sure their votes were counted. Four years later, we did it again.

That's why the work Democrats are doing to protect and expand the vote this year is so important -- especially when we're facing unprecedented amounts of spending on negative ads from people like the Koch brothers.

So before the big quarterly fundraising deadline on Monday, we need you to donate $10 or more to make sure Democrats can get out every single vote in the fall.

We know that when Democrats show up and vote, we win. But that doesn't mean it's easy.

It takes a whole lot of resources to educate voters about their rights and make sure they cast their votes -- not to mention fighting the restrictive voting laws and other nonsense Republicans have been trying over the past few years to keep people home on Election Day.

We're less than 72 hours from one of our biggest fundraising deadlines of the year. Take a minute, and show your support. Chip in $10 or more right away:

Robert Gibbs
