Friend -- I have a confession to make. A few weeks ago, before I started this job as CEO of the DNC, the team here asked for your input on where the Democratic Party should be headed. And as soon as I could, I snuck a quick peek at the results. We got great feedback from thousands of you. But one comment, from a woman named Claudia in Ithaca, New York, has stuck in the back of my head for the past two weeks: "The Democrats should be able to draw a bright, thick, unwavering line between Republican attitudes and the fear that most Americans live with every day -- the fear of falling out of the middle class for good and running out of ways to feed themselves and their families." I know we can find a way to make this happen. To Claudia and Democrats everywhere: I will do everything I can to ensure that our party draws that line, and you can help by letting me know how you'd like to be involved.
