Big news:

Democrats
Friend --

I wanted to be sure that the person I picked to be my right hand in leading Democrats through the upcoming midterm election was up for the job, because the importance of this moment can't be underestimated.

That's why I'm so proud and excited to welcome Amy Dacey as the new chief executive officer for the Democratic Party. And I'm hoping you can join me in welcoming her to our team.

Amy brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and insight to the job. Most recently, she was the executive director of EMILY's List. During her time there, EMILY's List increased its membership by 500%, raised more money per cycle than any time in the organization's history, expanded its recruitment program, and helped elect a historic number of women to Congress. Amy knows how to do what Democrats do best -- include all voters in the electoral process and work toward effective, progressive change.

Across the country, Democrats like you have been stepping up in record numbers, and in Washington we're continuing to recruit top talent to continue building out our organization.

Amy is exactly the right person to harness this energy and lead us into a successful 2014 campaign season.

Join me, sign Amy's card to welcome her on board, and let her know you're ready to get started:
