Pacquiao -- If it seems like there's another attack on women's health happening every couple of days, that's because there is. Just this year, state legislatures have enacted -- not just proposed, but actually passed into law -- 43 measures restricting a woman's ability to make her own health care decisions. We're only halfway into 2013, but it's shaping up to be a discouraging year for women's rights -- and if we don't fight back even harder, it's only going to get worse. Democrats are ramping up our efforts to protect women's health across the country, and you should be a part of it. If you're in, say so now. Many of these restrictions are deeply unpopular with voters, and we need to make sure that the extreme Republican legislators trying to jam these laws through hear from their constituents. In states like Texas and North Carolina, tens of thousands of people have made their voices heard -- and in the coming weeks and months, Democrats are going to be doing more of that across the country to fight back. I want you to be a part of it, Pacquiao. Say you're in: http://my.democrats.org/Womens-Health Thanks, Debbie Debbie Wasserman Schultz Chair Democratic National Committee |
