Pacquiao -- We're here. The biggest fundraising deadline of this election is in a few hours, and there's a little more than a month left to go before Election Day. I'm not going to lie to you -- I get a little nervous at big moments in the campaign like this. How much we raise before midnight tonight will determine how strong Democrats will finish in just 37 days. As a woman and a mom, I know how much is on the line for Americans -- and how much we stand to lose if we don't do everything we can to re-elect President Obama and Democrats at every level between now and November 6th. So before midnight tonight, donate $5 or more to help Democrats win in the final month: https://my.democrats.org/Deadline-Tonight You're the best, Hildy Hildy Kuryk National Finance Director Democratic National Committee P.S. I promise, we won't be emailing you again today -- this is it. Make a donation of $5 or more before midnight. |

Last email of the day
I want to win
Pacquiao -- I can't do this on my own. Before tonight's fundraising deadline, I'm asking for your help. We're on the brink of a milestone American politics has never seen: 10 million grassroots donations in one election year. Help get us there. Chip in $5 or more today: https://my.democrats.org/September-Deadline Thank you, Barack |

Not a day to waste
Pacquiao -- I know, I know, this is like your 1 millionth email of the week. But there are just 37 days until Election Day. Ohio starts voting in just two days, and Iowa voters are already casting their ballots. We literally don't have a day to waste. Help make the most of this last quarterly fundraising deadline -- donate $5 or more before midnight. It'll be a tough fight to take back the House, hold the Senate, and keep Barack Obama in the White House. Everyone needs to do their part. Chip in $5 or more right now, before our critical midnight deadline: https://my.democrats.org/Deadline-Tonight Thanks, Debbie Debbie Wasserman Schultz Chair Democratic National Committee P.S. -- The election is only 37 days away -- your donation means more now than ever before. The biggest deadline we've faced
Pacquiao -- Voters are already casting their ballots early in some states, and the first debate is next week. In almost no time at all, this race will be over. One of the very last fundraising deadlines is coming up tomorrow, and the resources we have by then will help decide how this race turns out. Barack can't do this alone -- to win, he needs supporters like you giving it your all. Donate $5 or more before that deadline so we're ready for the final days of this campaign. Believe me, every time Barack hears someone tell him he's earned their vote, it makes his day. That doesn't get old. To hear that you're out there, lending your voice and getting others involved, means the world to us both. The $5 you give before the deadline is what makes this campaign possible. Help grow this campaign in these last weeks, when it matters the most: https://my.democrats.org/September-Deadline This election is in your hands. Thanks, Michelle P.S. -- This is incredible. We're about to reach 10 million grassroots donations since January alone. Add yours to help reach that goal -- your donation will go a lot further right now than it will closer to Election Day. |

This is it.
Pacquiao -- We're facing our most critical fundraising deadline yet tomorrow at midnight -- the money we raise now will be used to get us through the final month of the election, and across the finish line on November 6th. As a former chair of the DNC, I know how important this final month is. People are already voting in Iowa, and other states will start voting in a matter of days. This is where the rubber meets the road. Whether we win or lose on Election Day will be determined by whether Democrats have the resources we need to go after every single vote. There is one surefire way you can help -- by chipping in $5 or more today: https://my.democrats.org/Fall-Deadline I know that, together, we can win this thing. Gov. Howard Dean

The biggest deadline yet
Pacquiao -- They want to cut taxes for high-income Americans while the middle class shoulders the burden. They want to let Wall Street write its own rules again, and remove the financial regulations President Obama has put in place to prevent another crash. They want to cut the budget in a radical way, decimating programs that help the middle class, poor children, seniors, and those in science and technology that will create the good jobs of the future. They want to turn Medicare into a risky voucher program that could actually raise costs for seniors by as much as $6,400 per year. This week, both campaigns -- Mitt Romney's and President Obama's -- face the biggest fundraising deadline yet. If we want President Obama in that White House for another four years, we can't take anything for granted, especially critical moments like this. Donate $5 or more today, and let's bring this home for President Obama and Democrats across the country: https://my.democrats.org/Fall-Deadline Thanks, Bill Clinton P.S. -- Your donation will go further now than it will next week. That's because it will immediately be put to use -- if your $5 (for example) goes toward hiring an organizer in Akron, Ohio, she'll have more time to do her job and reach more voters. And that's how elections are won.

Tea Party stranglehold
Pacquiao -- This is one of the last times I'll send you an email about a critical fundraising deadline in this election. So here it is: We need your help if we're going to defeat Mitt Romney and take back Congress from the Tea Party stranglehold. Why? Because in six weeks, this thing is going to be over. Win or lose, good or bad, it'll be the end of this election. And your donation is going to make the biggest impact right now. So I need you to help out, Pacquiao. Can you donate $5 or more today? Millions of Americans are counting on us -- there's more on the line than ever before. If we don't do all we can between now and Election Day, there are simply no words to describe the regret we could feel. Mitt Romney and a cohort of extreme Republicans could be at the helm of every policy decision that affects you, me, and all Americans for generations to come. Can I count you in to help build this movement by chipping in $5 or more? https://my.democrats.org/Fall-Deadline I'm proud to be standing with you, Donna Brazile P.S. -- Election Day is just 39 days away, and we're up against our biggest fundraising deadline yet. Good morning
I hope you'll pay attention, Pacquiao. We're facing a big FEC fundraising deadline -- after this, there's only one more before Election Day. Here's why that matters: Your donation will go further now than it will next week. That's because it will immediately be put to use -- if your $5 (for example) goes toward hiring an organizer in Akron, Ohio, she'll have more time to do her job and reach more voters. And that's how elections are won. I hope you'll donate $5 or more before the September fundraising deadline: https://my.democrats.org/Deadline-September Thanks for everything you do. Bill Clinton P.S. -- If you donate $5 or whatever you can today, you and a guest will be automatically entered to fly out to meet President Obama and me on the campaign trail. No purchase, payment, or contribution necessary to enter or win. Contributing will not improve chances of winning. Void where prohibited. Entries must be received by September 28, 2012. You may enter by contributing to Obama for America here, by signing up for Quick Donate here, or click here to enter without contributing or signing up for Quick Donate. Two (2) winners will each receive the following prize package: round-trip tickets for winner and a guest from within the fifty U.S. States, DC, or Puerto Rico to a destination to be determined by Sponsor; hotel accommodations for winner and a guest; tickets for winner and a guest to two events of Sponsor; and the opportunity to meet with President Obama and President Clinton (approximate retail value of all prizes $3,200). Odds of winning depend on number of entries received. Promotion open only to U.S. citizens, or lawful permanent U.S. residents who are legal residents of 50 United States, District of Columbia and Puerto Rico and 18 or older (or age of majority under applicable law). Not "ladylike"??
Pacquiao -- Todd Akin -- the man who offended just about everyone when he made the dead wrong claim that there is a medical difference between "legitimate rape" and other instances of rape -- was just officially locked in as the GOP opponent for Claire McCaskill's Missouri Senate seat. Today, here's what he had to say about the first woman elected to the U.S. Senate from Missouri, after he observed that she seemed "aggressive" in Friday's debate: "[In her 2006 campaign, McCaskill] had a confidence and was very much more sort of ladylike." If you've heard enough, chip in $5 to stop him. The critical September fundraising deadline is when Democrats will decide if we have the resources to really take on candidates like this one -- so it's up to you, right now. Mr. Akin thinks Missouri's Senator, who serves on the Senate Committee on Armed Services, Committee on Commerce, Committee on Science and Transportation, Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, and Special Committee on Aging, is not "ladylike" because she wasn't sweet to him in their debate. "She came out swinging," Akin said, "and I think that's because she was threatened." You're in a position to stop this man from holding office in our nation's Senate and to stop him from authoring our laws. You're in a position to stand with Senator McCaskill as she enters the fight of her life. The September FEC fundraising deadline is in just a few days, and that's when we're going to have to make calls about how hard Democrats can fight against extreme GOP candidates like this. Donate $5 or more to help Democrats shut this guy down and take on the cynical, win-at-any-cost backers funding him: https://my.democrats.org/Defeat-Republicans Todd Akin's crossed the line again and again, and we're the ones who are going to tell him that he can't take his ignorance, his fanaticism, and anything else he has to say about what's ladylike and what's not to our Senate floor. If they win
Pacquiao -- Want to know what really frightens me? It frightens me that Mitt Romney is the leader of the Republican Party -- and there are hundreds of Republican candidates across the country who think just like him. And they could win on November 6th. If they do, boy, is our country in trouble. Just look at what Republicans in the House have tried to do in this last legislative session alone: They voted to defund Planned Parenthood and voted 33 times to repeal Obamacare -- yet never voted once for the President's jobs bill to help put Americans back to work. It is never acceptable -- never -- to put politics before people. Our most important fundraising deadline yet is on Sunday -- and we have just a little over a month left to do everything we can to make sure that President Obama and Democrats across the country win on Election Day. Seriously -- I hope you feel the urgency I do. We can't let these Republicans control the White House and Congress for the next four years. Donate $5 or more today to give Democrats the resources they need: https://my.democrats.org/Fall-Deadline We can do this. Joe

A little bittersweet
Pacquiao -- My favorite campaign tradition started five years ago -- check out the email below. It's just incredible how much we've grown -- from 100,000 individual donors at that time to more than 3 million in this campaign alone -- and how much we've accomplished together. Tomorrow night, we're selecting the guests for the last dinner of my last campaign. I'm looking forward to closing out this tradition the way it started: with supporters like you. Will you be there? Make a donation of $5 or whatever you can, and you'll be automatically entered: https://my.democrats.org/Dinner It's bittersweet, but this is the last time we'll do this on this campaign. I'd love for you and your guest to be there. As always, your flight and hotel are on us. Thanks, Barack ------------Original Message--------------- From: Barack Obama Date: Wednesday, June 6th, 2007 at 6:23 p.m. Subject: Re: Dinner with Barack? Dear friend, When we launched this campaign, we decided not to take the easy money offered by Washington lobbyists and special interest political action committees. Instead, we put our faith in you, and we couldn't have made a better choice. I'll be meeting four of you for dinner sometime soon, but what's happening across this country is bigger than me, or my candidacy. Together we're re-shaping the political process based on the idea that a movement of people who care about the common future of all Americans can be more powerful than any special interest. I hope you'll take a minute to make a donation, and perhaps we'll be seeing each other soon. Thank you, Barack No purchase, payment, or contribution necessary to enter or win. Dinner?
Pacquiao -- As we're organizing the last dinner with supporters on my last campaign, our kind of politics is running up against a very cynical calculation: That a few billionaires writing $10 million checks are enough to overpower the voices of millions of Americans. That's why I want to meet you for dinner. Donate $5 or whatever you can to our people-powered campaign, and be automatically entered to join me -- hotel and airfare covered for you and a guest. Overnight, we aren't going to change the rules that allow outside groups to spend hundreds of millions of dollars attacking me on the airwaves. So we have to stay on the case every day. Last week we learned that more than 1.1 million donors in August alone -- out of more than 3 million people supporting this effort -- had outraised Mitt Romney and the Republicans for the first time since April. If we keep doing this our way, I guarantee you there'll be no stopping us. Donate $5 or whatever you can today and you'll be automatically entered to be at the table: https://my.democrats.org/Dinner Thanks, Barack P.S. -- If you're planning on donating to this campaign at some point in the future, don't wait. Your grassroots donation means more today because it can be put to work right now, building the organization it will take to win. Exactly 47 days to go. No purchase, payment, or contribution necessary to enter or win. Contributing will not improve chances of winning. Void where prohibited. Entries must be received by September 25, 2012. Karl Rove's been pretty busy
Pacquiao -- You get a lot of emails from us about how much money the Romney campaign and outside groups are spending to defeat President Obama this November. But that crush of spending isn't just happening in the presidential race -- it's happening in races up and down the ticket, all across the country: -- Outside groups, including Karl Rove's, have already dumped nearly $11 million into negative ads in Virginia to try to beat Governor Tim Kaine in that state's Senate contest -- outspending Governor Kaine's campaign by a two-to-one margin. -- In Ohio, those same groups have spent $17 million trying to bury Senator Sherrod Brown with negative ads -- outspending his campaign by a four-to-one margin. -- And in Florida, one donor has pledged $5 million to Rove's group to defeat Senator Bill Nelson. Politics has never seen this kind of spending, and when individual donors are dropping $5 million in a state race, we don't know what kind of impact it'll have. Here's what we do know: We need to win races up and down the ticket if we're going to protect the progress we've made, and continue fighting for the middle class. That's why we're going all out to help Democrats in tight races across the country fight back against the crush of outside spending. Make a donation of $5 or more today to win this: https://my.democrats.org/Help-Democrats-Fight We don't need to match them dollar for dollar. All we need is a fighting chance. 49 days left. Thanks, Jeffrey Jeffrey Lerner Political Director Democratic National Committee P.S. -- The sooner you chip in, the more of an impact your donation will have. The end of a campaign tradition
Pacquiao -- Every couple of months, Barack gets to have dinner with supporters like you -- and he loves it. But now that we're in the final stretch, the last dinner of this campaign is coming up. So please give $5 or whatever you can to be automatically entered for your seat at the table. It'll be fun, but probably a little bittersweet, too. Not only is this Barack's last campaign, but it's also the end of a long tradition. He held the first of these dinners early on during his first presidential campaign. So don't miss this last chance to join Barack for dinner. You'll get to bring a guest with you, and we'll cover the airfare and hotel, too: https://my.democrats.org/Dinner Thanks, Michelle No purchase, payment, or contribution necessary to enter or win. I'm saving a seat for Pacquiao
Pacquiao -- I'm only going to get to sit down to dinner with grassroots supporters on this campaign one last time. It's one of the most meaningful things we do, and represents exactly the kind of politics we believe in: All of us, at one table, together. So if you're someone who is helping to build this campaign, I want to meet you. I want to thank you in person. And I'd love to hear what's on your mind. This is the last time we'll be able to sit down together for one of these -- so I hope you'll take me up on it. Your donation of $5 or whatever you're able to chip in will automatically enter you: https://my.democrats.org/Dinner Thanks. Barack P.S. -- Flight and hotel are on me. All you have to do is come and eat. No purchase, payment, or contribution necessary to enter or win. Contributing will not improve chances of winning. Void where prohibited. You gotta see this:

So much on the line
Pacquiao -- My daughter Zoe was born with a congenital heart defect that required her to have multiple open heart surgeries in the first few months of her life. By the time she was six months old, she had already reached over half of her lifetime insurance cap, which would have left us unable to pay for the continuing care and future surgeries required for Zoe to survive. I can't tell you how relieved I was when Obamacare passed. I got a letter from our insurance company telling us that Zoe's lifetime cap had been removed. It meant my family wouldn't have to lose everything to keep my daughter alive. And the Republicans want to take this away? There is just so much on the line in this election. The best thing we can do right now is give President Obama and other Democrats the resources they need to win in 54 days. Please chip in $5 or more today. Mitt Romney and the Republicans say that if they win on November 6th, they'll repeal Obamacare on Day One. That means that millions of Americans -- including children like Zoe, who have already overcome insurmountable odds -- stand to lose the coverage they need to stay healthy. The stakes are incredibly high, and incredibly personal. And I, for one, can't sit by while the Republicans threaten my daughter's health and my family's well-being -- and I hope you can't, either. Donate $5 or more today to protect Obamacare and help Democrats fight in these last weeks of their campaigns: https://my.democrats.org/Protect-Obamacare Thank you so much for fighting, Stacey Lihn

I don't usually email you
Pacquiao -- I usually don't email you -- but I have an amazing invitation I have to share. Jay and I will be meeting up with President Obama for an evening in NYC sometime soon. And we want you to be there! Until midnight tonight, if you pitch in $5 or whatever you can, you'll be automatically entered to be flown out to join us. I've had the honor of meeting President Obama and the First Lady a few times -- and believe me -- it's an opportunity you don't want to miss. Don't worry about the airfare and hotel, it's taken care of. And you can bring a guest. But the countdown is on -- this opportunity ends at midnight: https://my.democrats.org/Meet-Me-in-New-York Can't wait to meet you! Pledge to vote
Pacquiao -- I know we've been asking a lot from you lately. What I'm asking today is easy -- but critical if we want to win this election. Please take a moment to commit to vote this fall, and get at least one other person to do the same. In a matter of days, voting will have already started in some states, and I just want to know that you plan to do your part to make sure Barack gets four more years to move this country forward. Please say that you'll vote, and get others to join you. We know what's at stake this year. And if each of us makes the commitment to vote now and gets others excited about doing the same, we'll be one step closer to winning this election. So check your registration, pledge to vote this year, and then get your friends and family to do the same: http://my.democrats.org/Commit-to-Vote Thanks for all you do, Michelle |

You proved them wrong
Pacquiao -- Just when the pundits and everyone else thought they knew the equation in this race -- you're changing it. I learned today that, for the first time since April, we closed the gap. We outraised Mitt Romney and the Republicans. We can't let it be the last time. More than 3 million Americans now own a piece of this campaign -- in August alone, more than 1.1 million people stepped up to make a donation. Let's close that gap for good. Show what we're capable of with a donation of $5 or more: https://my.democrats.org/August-Numbers What an incredible week. Barack |

Fwd: I'll be damned
Pacquiao -- This is an enormously big deal: We closed the fundraising gap in August, with the Obama campaign and the Democratic Party raising $114 million compared to the $111 million raised by Romney and the Republicans. Thanks to you, we outraised the other side for the first time since April. But we can't stop now -- we need your help to keep that gap closed. These numbers don't include super PAC or outside spending, and the other side is going to do everything they can to outraise us in the next 57 days. We need to keep up the momentum. Check out Obama campaign manager Jim Messina's email below for more details, then donate $5 or more today to help keep this close: https://my.democrats.org/August-Numbers Thanks, Patrick -----------------Original Message----------------- From: Jim Messina Subject: I'll be damned Friend -- Huge news: We finally closed the gap. We outraised Mitt Romney and the Republicans $114 million to $111 million in August. Unbelievable. After three straight months of getting beat -- and not by a small margin -- more than 1,170,000 supporters made a donation to close the gap. We can't let up for one second. These August numbers don't reflect outside group fundraising or spending -- and in that category we're still getting thrashed. Right before the conventions, we were being outspent by super PACs alone in Colorado, Florida, Iowa, North Carolina, Virginia, and Wisconsin. That margin was more than 2 to 1 in Florida, Iowa, and North Carolina. Already, more than 3 million grassroots donors have stepped up to make sure they can't drown us out. According to our records, you weren't among them. Are you going to let this campaign go by without joining in? Stand up and be counted -- donate $5 or more today to help build on this momentum. We recently learned Karl Rove is rounding up the most powerful Republican donors to give all they've got to beat Barack Obama. And it's clear the Romney campaign has been building up a cash advantage that would allow them to blanket the airwaves with negative ads even if we did close the gap. Last week a Romney-Ryan official compared their latest ad campaign to the "daisy cutter" bombs used in the Iraq War. Another adviser to the campaign said their goal from now to Election Day is to "carpet bomb" President Obama and Vice President Biden. After all our hard work over the past 17 months, I'll be damned if the Romney campaign, Karl Rove, the Koch brothers, and a handful of anonymous billionaires "carpet bomb" the President and end up deciding this election for millions of Americans in the last 57 days. We just proved we can go head to head with Romney and the Republicans and win. That can't stop now. This will be a tight race to the end. Donate $5 or more today: https://my.democrats.org/August-Numbers Together we're proving that ordinary Americans -- not special interests or super PACs -- will decide this election. I'm proud to be a part of this campaign, and even more determined to make sure our hard work translates into a win for President Obama in November. I hope you feel the same way. Thanks for all you're doing. Messina Jim Messina Campaign Manager Obama for America |
