This deadline matters

Pacquiao -- I know that your inbox can start to be pretty cluttered when a big fundraising deadline like tonight's is coming up. But as a former chair of the Democratic Party, I can also tell you how truly important these deadlines are. Critics, pundits, and our opponents will judge our strength in this election year by how much money we raise by the deadline at midnight tonight. Even more importantly, we'll be counting every last dollar to see if we have enough to carry out our plans on the ground across the country. It all comes down to whether we have the money to win.
