If passed, it would put us on a path to strengthening our community colleges and rebuilding our roads and bridges. It would make sure teachers and firefighters can keep their jobs, and it would all be fully paid for. Yet House Republicans just don't seem to care whether it's good policy. As one Republican staffer said, they won't hand the President a win right now -- even if that means hurting the economy even more.
