Fight health care lies

The Democratic Party
pacquiao --

You may have heard -- the Republican National Committee just released a 60 second television ad attacking President Obama and falsely claiming his plans to reform our broken health care system amount to a "government takeover."

We know better. President Obama has been clear that any health care reform must guarantee Americans a choice to keep or switch their health plans and doctors as they choose -- including the option of a publicly-funded plan for those who want it.

But Republicans know they'll lose an honest debate, so they're spreading deceit and fear. It's up to us to fight back. With your support, we can counter their smears, get out the President's message of reform, and give voice to ordinary Americans trapped in our broken health care system.

pacquiao, we can't fight health care lies without your support. Please donate $5 or more today.

For every misleading Republican ad, we'll counter with a simple but powerful message: thousands of Americans are demanding an end to the political games and deceitful attacks on health care reform.

Health reform isn't a game to the millions of Americans facing bills they can't afford, fighting bureaucracies that stand between them and their doctors, and fearing what might happen if they get sick and don't have insurance.

So it's up to us -- to spread the President's message of reform, to counter distortions and expose lies, and make sure the change we fought so hard for doesn't slip through our fingers.

After all, if we don't have a real discussion about how to expand access, cuts costs, and ensure quality health care for all, the American people will pay the price.

Don't let Republican health care lies go unrefuted -- please chip in to counter their attacks today:
